"Some dads take their boys fishing, some throw around a ball. Stephen King and his son imagine a plague that knocks out half the earth's population. That's essentially the plot of Sleeping Beauties the first novel co-written by the horror-meister Stephen King and his younger son, Owen King. Together they've radically transfigured the Brothers Grimm tale into a violent story of our modern age" (Washington Post). "The entertaining Sleeping Beauties… [is] a bulging, colourful epic; a super-sized happy meal, liberally salted with supporting characters and garnished with splashes of arterial ketchup… Was the writing of this book dependent on a similar creative friction? Did Stephen call the shots and have his son play apprentice? Or was this truly a joint effort; a collaboration between two writers blessed with the same DNA? It's hard to tell—and this is surely for the best. But perhaps it's no accident that this epic feels so vital and fresh" (Guardian). Jana Heidersdorf is a popular fantasy and horror artist from Germany whose illustrations for Sleeping Beauties first appeared in this limited edition. The first edition was published in 2017.

A fine signed copy.
